Speed. Excitement. Adrenaline.
Nitro City Racing, Rohnert Park is Sonoma County's premier indoor karting venue. Nitro City Racing runs OTL Superleggero Go Karts. These are the fastest karts in California, with top speeds of up to 45mph.
The Superleggero has adjustable pedals, adjustable steering, LED lighting, and F1 inspired kart suspension making it the perfect cart for immersing you in the action!
Important Kart Racing Information:

There is no age limit on karting, however you must meet certain height requirements:
You must be at least 48" (4ft) to drive a junior kart.
You must be at least 58" (4ft 10in) to drive an adult kart.
For safety reasons, we are unable to run races with adult karts and junior karts simultaneously.
Closed toe shoes are required to race.
Full Face Helmets are REQUIRED. We provide helmets at no cost.
A headsock is ALSO REQUIRED. You may provide your own, or purchase one for $5. Headsocks are washable and reusable.
All Karting Participants must complete and sign a waiver prior to racing.
Minors must have a waiver signed by someone 18 or older.
Adult Races run for 12 laps. Junior Races last 8 minutes.
How do races work?
Races at Nitro City run in the fastest-lap format, which means the winner is the racer with the best single lap time. This means that in a 12-lap race, you have 12 chances to set the best single lap time. Starting position is random, and your lap time is counted from when YOUR kart passes over the Start/Finish Line.
When a race begins, the karts exit the front of the pit and perform a warm-up lap. This gives everyone a chance to get a feel for the kart, and for the track master to get everyone up to speed.
If the race is by laps, then the first kart to reach total number of laps ends the race. If the race is timed, the race ends when the remaining time expires.
When the race is over, the karts enter the back of the pit and return to the row from which they came. When the pit staff gives the all clear, the racers can exit their karts and the pit.
